How many of you have successfully completed a 2048 tile on the 4x4 grid without using this technique (let's be honest here, you'd have to be oblivious/completely niave to be smart enough to win a 4x4 but not realize this exploit exists. Seems like an oversight in my opinion but I thought I'd bring up the discussion here. Currently it limits your consecutive back moves but sliding once resets that counter back to 1 back button use every time. Try to predict where the new tiles will appear and how you can use them. I personally just found it most useful to abuse once I lost in order to assure I received a 2/4 where I needed one and would continue using it until I received the tile that would allow me to keep playing. By doing this, you can continue to increase your score. As I'm sure many of you know, you can get much further in the game by simply using the back button each time you lose until the game gives you a 4 tile instead of a 2 tile.
